  • Developer and Co-Founder

    Strange Flock

    Jan 2012 - Present

Strange Flock is an independent development and design studio I co-founded in 2012. We help small businesses and non-profit organizations with their digital needs. I worked directly with clients and managed the quality and delivery of projects while in charge of the development and delivery of web and mobile applications.

  • Full Stack Senior Developer (Contractor)

    Torque LTD, Chicago

    Jun 2012 - Dec 2016

At this marketing and Advertising agency, I ran full stack development while planning and managing projects. I learned how to create scalable, reliable and beautiful websites on tight deadlines.

  • Mobile Lead Developer

    Technical University, Cracow

    Sep 2011 - Feb 2012

I was responsible for developing and deploying an Android application for remote login to University's laboratories. Using this application, students can access and operate lab equipment remotely. At the time, tablets were quite new, and our goal was to build the foundation of the University’s remote courses system.

  • Junior Software Engineer

    Lusas LTD, Kingston UK

    Feb 2011 - Jul 2012

At Lusas I was responsible for updating parts of the user interface of a structural engineering software and adapting it to Windows 7. This was my first experience working on a huge codebase and collaborating with various developers. I learned the value of versioning tools and the agile workflow.

  • Wordpress Website for AEA

AEA's new Wordpress site is a great example of the work I do as an independent contractor. The site has been design by a marketing agency from California and I executed on their vision. This Wordpress template is build from ground up and tailored based on the requirements. It uses AJAX extensively so content loads without reloading the page. The website is integrated with an external course catalog through an API. Currently, the site is being finalized and it will launch in the near future.
